比爾·蓋茨:
創新、創新、再創新
大名鼎鼎的比爾·蓋茨已經連續8年雄居世界超級富翁榜首。比爾·蓋茨致富的全部奧秘在于:創新、創新、再創新。他將知識作為主要資本來從事生產,將研究與開發置于中心地位,保持持續不斷的創新。不創新,就滅亡!比爾·蓋茨有一句名言:“微軟距離破產永遠只有28個月。”為此,他制定了9條指導方針:
第一,“雇傭聰明的人”,因為“軟件發展需要聰明的工程師參與,依循演算法程序思考和解決問題。”
第二,“容許獨輪車”,因為如果追求創意產品,就必須鼓勵一種創意氛圍,讓每一個成員都能把自己的聰明才智充分發揮出來。
第三,“與小團隊共事”,因為小團隊溝通有效率,微軟通常把工作團隊人數限制在35人以內。
第四,“給人時間思考”,因為要想有創新的產品,就必須要讓人有思考問題的時間。
第五,“迅速做決定并且堅持下去”,否則就會延誤時機。
第六,“發展一套意見反饋環路,特別是與消費者要有互動”,因為“微軟是一家行動非常快速的公司,而且我們是以消費者的要求訂制優先次序。”
