喜宴上紅包,似乎是亞洲人才有的習(xí)俗。西方社會就沒有,例如美國白人習(xí)慣由女兒的爸爸支付婚禮費(fèi)用,親朋好友不給紅包,而是認(rèn)購新人羅列出來的“婚禮禮物”清單,清單多半是婚后家庭生活所需的東西。
日本人對于禮金,針對不同的人際關(guān)系各有清楚明白的定價,中國人則顯得彈性多了,可以根據(jù)包禮者(和新人)的關(guān)系、身份、經(jīng)濟(jì)狀況、性格、場合、經(jīng)驗(yàn)還有時下行情,斟酌判斷。雖然稱不上每一包都能令人滿意,但多少能從中檢視自己和對方的關(guān)系的認(rèn)定是否一致(例如你認(rèn)為和對方很好,對方卻包遠(yuǎn)低于市場行情的禮金給你,而他又不是小氣或經(jīng)濟(jì)狀況有問題時,通常代表雙方對于這段人際關(guān)系的認(rèn)知有落差)。
喜宴紅包是件麻煩事,不過對親族、同學(xué)、朋友等較為穩(wěn)固的社會關(guān)系來說,該包多少,心里多半有數(shù),反而是“公司同事”該包多少,很難拿捏。
